Westland Water Saving Gel
I posted a blog a few weeks ago about Water Butts and how they can help to keep your plants watered during a hosepipe ban, which you can view here.
Another great product we have is Westland’s Water Saving Gel, which can hold up to 400 times it’s own weight in water and can treat up to seventy-two 15-25cm pots. The granules slowly release water over time and can store up to 1 litre of water per pot. You simply mix a small amount of the granules in the compost, then water twice to charge the granules and then water as required afterwards.
As the granules retain and release water when needed you don’t need to worry about your prized flowers, fruits and vegetables suffering during hot summer days.
